The supporters of Real Academia Serengetti booed when Il Catenaccio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Isidor during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Real Academia Serengetti made a substitution. Celso Vimaro replaced Leo Donio. A collision led to Il Catenaccio getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adan Isidor hit a great ball. Eleuterio Pagomari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Jusepe in the 8th minute of the match. Eleuterio Pagomari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Jusepe's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Real Academia Serengetti's Elpidio Elodio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Real Academia Serengetti from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Gonzalo Vincent kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elpidio Elodio. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Elpidio Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Ederono in the 18th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Il Catenaccio's Elpidio Elodio threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Placido Ederono, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Robustiano Isias kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Eleuterio Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Jusepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Il Catenaccio's Ramon Orixe got a free kick in the 29th minute. Real Academia Serengetti's Elpidio Elodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Ederono in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zeledon Jusepe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eleuterio Pagomari was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 37 minutes, Zeledon Jusepe made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Il Catenaccio's Eleuterio Pagomari tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Segundo Oskitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Elpidio Elodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Placido Ederono ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Elodio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Oskitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the last second Eleuterio Pagomari throw himself and got hold of the ball when Zeledon Jusepe in the 51stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 51 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Vincent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Il Catenaccio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Academia Serengetti the free kick. Celso Vimaro charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Vimaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Real Academia Serengetti got a freekick which was hit by Celso Vimaro. Elpidio Elodio came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Il Catenaccio's Placido Ederono. But to his dismay, Placido Ederono quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Segundo Oskitz scored 5-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Elodio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
