Higinio Tximitx charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Tximitx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomás Etxatxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mauro Joachim made a huge save. The corner led MDQ Raptors FC's Higinio Tximitx to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauro Joachim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. AFC CERBEROS's Damian Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, AFC CERBEROS's Serafino Gonsalve nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Bastia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to MDQ Raptors FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Amador Harriet hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, one of MDQ Raptors FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MDQ Raptors FC. If Serafino Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC CERBEROS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Azibar in the 36th minute. It was a well-played corner which Lázaro Berto managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Felix Azibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ruperto Bastia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Higinio Tximitx to strike the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Terciero kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Tomás Etxatxu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Azibar in the 90th minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Ruperto Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the AFC CERBEROS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MDQ Raptors FC.
