Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gaby Batistuta got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Don Malbec getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Tito Popin hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Prospero Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when Gaby Batistuta came free, but Celso Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Frutos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaby Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Natal, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Celso Frutos had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gaby Batistuta from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Gaby Batistuta put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Celso Frutos. Celso Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaby Batistuta in the 27th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Celso Frutos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 29th minute Don Malbec were awarded a corner. Gaby Batistuta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gaby Batistuta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guanacos's Celso Frutos did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Lasso got free with Celso Frutos in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Gonza in the 38th minute of play forced Don Malbec's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Orlando Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guanacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Gonza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Frutos made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Gaby Batistuta sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Orlando Gonza made the kick off in the second half. Celso Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Sexto in the 51st minute of the match. 51 minutes into the match, Camilo Sexto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Frutos. Guanacos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camilo Sexto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaby Batistuta in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Frutos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurelio Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaby Batistuta in the 64th minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Celso Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Ted Lasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Camilo Sexto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Don Malbec's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Sexto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaby Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Don Malbec's Ted Lasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Frutos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 85th minute, Dragoş Hârșu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guanacos's Amado Vedillo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guanacos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Gaby Batistuta scored 4-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Frutos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Don Malbec players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
