A collision led to Centenario Bohemio getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Hernan Cordarrell hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Luke came free, but Nemesio Johans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Ospetsu charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Ospetsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Ospetsu to maneuver through the defense. Nemesio Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Luke in the 24th minute of the match. If Arnoldo Quexal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Diego Becker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Acosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Arnoldo Stanislao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Johans was a little too slow when Ezequiel Luke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, Centenario Bohemio's Nemesio Johans got control of the ball when Ezequiel Luke tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Stanislao to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Becker came free, but Pascual Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes Centenario Bohemio got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Cidro. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when Centenario Bohemio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Stanislao in the 56th minute of the match. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Elias Argoitz replaced Arnoldo Stanislao. Pascual Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Becker in the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Pascual Acosta got control of the ball when Wilfredo Cidro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Argoitz in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Johans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nemesio Johans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Luke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemesio Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Argoitz in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Estudiantes de América got a corner. Centenario Bohemio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnoldo Quexal ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Estudiantes de América's corner Arnoldo Quexal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nemesio Johans quite easily take care of the ball. In the 76th minute, Wilfredo Cidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes, Diego Becker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Centenario Bohemio and the Estudiantes de América players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Centenario Bohemio's Diego Becker got a free kick in the 87th minute. Nemesio Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Argoitz in the 88th minute of the match. After 92nd play minutes Elias Argoitz shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Nemesio Johans and just under the crossbar into goal. Estudiantes de América's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
