In the 14th minute, Hipolito Beti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Mejía. The goal made the score 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mala Lech in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santos Sustrai's late challenge caught a LA LUZ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Sustrai helped the player get up and apologised. Santos Sustrai kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Mauricio Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mala Lech, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mala Lech to make the kick off. The score was now 2-5. 79 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Urtzi came free, but Luís Mejía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mala Lech in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes ELMUÑE got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Oriche. ELMUÑE's Mauricio Santiago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save ELMUÑE from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mala Lech in the 91st minute of play forced ELMUÑE's goalkeeper Mauricio Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tata González could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Mauricio Santiago made a huge save. The LA LUZ F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
