The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximino Millan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Orlondon in the 4th minute. Cipriano Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Benjamin Ramone suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Leon Egun's late challenge caught a Marlin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Egun helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Leon Egun hit a great ball. Guaberto Malvin struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Maximino Millan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlin FC. AZURDUY F.C.'s Maximino Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Fidensio in the 16th minute of play. Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Curcio in the 17th minute of play. Maximino Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Quico in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Quico took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Millan. Maximino Millan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Abel Seguinus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximino Millan having to make a save. AZURDUY F.C.'s Maximino Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Orlondon in the 40th minute of play. Cirilo Martinez hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Quico made a kick off. When Carolo Eneto fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZURDUY F.C.'s protests and gave Carolo Eneto a yellow card for diving instead. Carolo Eneto kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Malvin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Seguinus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximino Millan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Quico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Millan was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Roque Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robustiano Heriberto scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Millan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximino Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Orlondon, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a little luck, Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino got control of the ball when Alejo Weterio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnoldo Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Primitivo Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abel Seguinus came free, but Maximino Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Roque Tome hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Marlin FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while AZURDUY F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
