Club Almirante Brown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilano Maidana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Atilano Maidana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidoro Dolfos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Rito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilfredo Segio struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Pedro Rito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Almirante Brown. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Chale in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Rito saved Soroca F.C. from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, one of Club Almirante Brown:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Almirante Brown. After the first half Soroca F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Segio was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Benedicto Chale made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Soroca F.C.'s Pedro Rito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benedicto Chale might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Rito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Chale ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Club Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nicanor Ceandro hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Soroca F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Soroca F.C.:s Pedro Rito showed great skill when he stopped Benedicto Chale:s penalty. Isidoro Dolfos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Maidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Chale in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Rito saved Soroca F.C. from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Wilfredo Segio got a free kick in the 74th minute. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Anibal Heriberto hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Maidana came free, but Isidoro Dolfos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 82 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Justo Paublo. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Club Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Paublo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Almirante Brown's Isidoro Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Obeko in the 83rd minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Segio to maneuver through the defense.
