The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Herauso got free with Amadeo Jatsu in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Rami in the 6th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Jatsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Jatsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Rami, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Abuba Akotonon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timoteo Ponce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Dalmacio Herauso took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Amadeo Jatsu to make any attempt to save it. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Honorio Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Cavani in the 40th minute of play. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Timoteo Ponce pulled a muscle in his leg after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Valentín Barco fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abuba Akotonon FC's protests and gave Valentín Barco a yellow card for diving instead. Apocalípticos & Caóticos made a substitution. Mariano Luke replaced Timoteo Ponce. In the 48th match minute, Abuba Akotonon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Barco to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Jatsu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 49th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mariano Luke. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Honorio Oso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinson Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Edinson Cavani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Honorio Oso made a huge save. Honorio Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinson Cavani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Dionisio Rami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Jatsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Arsenio Francesco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mariano Luke hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Edinson Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Oso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edinson Cavani in the 91st minute. Apocalípticos & Caóticos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
