To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Agustin Avellaneda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilber Castaneda. A collision led to Sportivo Chupeño getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ascencio Abechuco hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Sportivo Chupeño got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Abeitia. Jesus Palacios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Teofilo Abellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilber Castaneda to strike the kick off in the second half. Agustin Avellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilber Castaneda in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilber Castaneda in the 54th minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Agustin Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored AC DeMiRHaN's protests and gave Eduardo Hinkle a yellow card for diving instead. Eduardo Hinkle hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The supporters of AC DeMiRHaN booed when Sportivo Chupeño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urki Abello didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, AC DeMiRHaN's goalkeeper Hans McCann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Abellaneda. Many of Sportivo Chupeño's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sportivo Chupeño may have spent more time on the ball, but AC DeMiRHaN were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
