The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Hernando Gijon came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the AFC Viola Gigliati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernando Gijon couldn't finish the play. AFC Viola Gigliati's Zernin Mendivil got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jayson Slaughter didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AFC Viola Gigliati's Evangelista Ugarte shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evangelista Ugarte in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jayson Slaughter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Evangelista Ugarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Viola Gigliati's supporters rose to their feet, but Evangelista Ugarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jayson Slaughter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th match minute, Los Gordos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenic Biggs to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Zernin Mendivil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jayson Slaughter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ward Layton to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Evangelista Ugarte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jayson Slaughter. Evangelista Ugarte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Los Gordos from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Los Gordos's Ward Layton got a free kick in the 56th minute. Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zernin Mendivil in the 57th minute of play. Evangelista Ugartes short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Jayson Slaughter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zernin Mendivil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Los Gordos booed when AFC Viola Gigliati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasper Agoos didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC Viola Gigliati made a substitution. Alvarez Marchamalo replaced Rolado Rosell. After 77 played minutes AFC Viola Gigliati got a freekick which was hit by Jasper Agoos. With his leg Jayson Slaughter managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when AFC Viola Gigliati's Lopez Hidalgo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lopez Hidalgo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Jayson Slaughter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When AFC Viola Gigliati's Zernin Mendivil in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Gordos's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute, Ward Layton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Lopez Hidalgo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Viola Gigliati fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Lopez Hidalgo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jayson Slaughter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lopez Hidalgo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th of the match, Zernin Mendivil tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jayson Slaughter got in the way and made a wonderful save. Lopez Hidalgo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jayson Slaughter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Viola Gigliati. When the final whistle sounded AFC Viola Gigliati left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Gordos.
