Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronald Vordenbäumen started the match with the kick off. Hermelando Feliciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Vordenbäumen in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reed Molina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reed Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Vordenbäumen in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Vordenbäumen came free, but Reed Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariah Barth hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Reed Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Vordenbäumen in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, John Apelkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Ortegano's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Apelkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Sal Chamberlain. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Vordenbäumen in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reed Molina saved ForestFire from getting behind. If Phil Greene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sal Chamberlain to maneuver through the defense. John Apelkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reed Molina. ForestFire's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Britton to make the kick off. Virgilio Pacifico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Britton's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 61st minute, Phil Greene left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ForestFire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience was convinced that Roman Britton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Pacifico was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Virgilio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duncan Nichols in the 76th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Britton in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Pacifico saved Deportivo Ortegano from getting behind. Ignacio Gaig who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Reed Molina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Virgilio Pacifico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Britton, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ForestFire fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Ortegano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
