After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chu Zheng Yu got a free kick in the 4th minute. The CSD Concepción fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when CSD Concepción's Erasmo Lacunza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 8th match minute, CSD Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Rigazzi to maneuver through the defense. Shane Smiley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Villamil having to interfere. In the 12th minute Cristofer Tejada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Chapui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristofer Tejada hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Keenan Worthington sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolás Villamil skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daud Gazale during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Daud Gazale. Shane Smiley kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Nicolás Villamil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keenan Worthington, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's Erasmo Lacunza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Chapui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Daud Gazale came free, but Ian Chapui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Donald Kaufman in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CSD Concepción's Tor Tuga. CSD Concepción's Tor Tuga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Donald Kaufman in the 26 minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's goal looked a bit too open when Keenan Worthington came free, but Nicolás Villamil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shane Smiley scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolás Villamil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 39 minutes of play, CSD Concepción's Erasmo Lacunza made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Chapui was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Erasmo Lacunza came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the CSD Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Lacunza couldn't finish the play. Erasmo Lacunza kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CSD Concepción's Nemesio Basaure got a free kick in the 49th minute. The long shot by Keenan Worthington in the 50th minute really tested Nicolás Villamil's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
The wind increased when Shane Smiley made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Keenan Worthington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CSD Concepción getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Daud Gazale hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in CSD Concepción's zone, Keenan Worthington stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolás Villamil came out of the goal and Keenan Worthington tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Roberto Soldado was substituted for Keenan Worthington. Ian Chapui was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Erasmo Lacunza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erasmo Lacunza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cristofer Tejada managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSD Concepción's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristofer Tejada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Chapui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Shane Smiley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás Villamil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erasmo Lacunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Soldado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nicolás Villamil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Reeves lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Racing Miami Futbol Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, CSD Concepción's Lautaro Rigazzi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ian Chapui. CSD Concepción's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
