Jeronimo Columbo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes of play, MILLONARIOS FC's Erlin Haaland made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Enmanuel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the game, Romeo Noe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gianluigi Donnarumma. Romeo Noe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Gianluigi Donnarumma threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saverio Cordeiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jacindo Rotaetamorga charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacindo Rotaetamorga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Tximitx Cabezas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Romeo Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the MILLONARIOS FC defense, Eloy Sidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gianluigi Donnarumma. The MILLONARIOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gianluigi Donnarumma should have stopped the shot. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when Real Ayuntamiento CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacindo Rotaetamorga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lorenzo Enmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlin Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jeronimo Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Sidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Cordeiro came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Higuera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Lorenzo Enmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Noe in the 58th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Christian Errando quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernado Zaldain, made in the 62nd minute of the game. When Real Ayuntamiento CF's Saverio Cordeiro in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Enmanuel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Endura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Christian Errando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gianluigi Donnarumma was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Higuera to maneuver through the defense. When Theo Hernández fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MILLONARIOS FC's protests and gave Theo Hernández a yellow card for diving instead. Real Ayuntamiento CF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
