Keenan Worthington's late challenge caught a Nibiru X's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keenan Worthington helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Keenan Worthington. In the 11th minute Nibiru X were awarded a corner. Eric Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. Rodrigo Ubiergo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 14th minute Marcel Folch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Chapui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Przemyslaw Damazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shane Smiley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Shane Smiley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Przemyslaw Damazki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nibiru X were furious when Eber Almadel was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 28th minute Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Keenan Worthington went to the cornerflag to take it. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Keenan Worthington was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Przemyslaw Damazki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Faustão Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Keenan Worthington got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Donald Kaufman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nibiru X's Rodrigo Ubiergo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Przemyslaw Damazki made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Keenan Worthington sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustão Pernambucano was the one to do the kick off. Nibiru X's Faustão Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Chapui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustão Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Roberto Soldado was substituted for Keenan Worthington. After having played for 75 minutes, Faustão Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nibiru X's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustão Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shane Smiley struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Przemyslaw Damazki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Miami Futbol Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Pernambucano in the 85th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Ian Chapui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shane Smiley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Przemyslaw Damazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mei Sheng fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Miami Futbol Club's protests and gave Mei Sheng a yellow card for diving instead. Mei Sheng hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
