After 4 played minutes United FC got a freekick which was hit by Javiero Velunza. Fabien Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigor Grigoryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After taking down the ball on United FC's corner Uriel Ribeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tigran Balayan quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Edwin Smith could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Tigran Balayan however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Kurtis Wooten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khachatryan's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurtis Wooten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabien Barthez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Ribeiro came free, but Tigran Balayan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tigran Balayan made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Edwin Smith sent off a good shot on target.
