Keenan Worthington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Peralta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Sergio Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keenan Worthington, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 minutes, Donald Kaufman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Miami Futbol Club and the Flamengo de San Blás players grew even worse after the yellow card. 24 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goal looked a bit too open when Sung Joiner came free, but Sergio Peralta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flamengo de San Blás's Sergio Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Worthington in the 30th minute of play. Sergio Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keenan Worthington in the 31st minute of play. After 35 played minutes Flamengo de San Blás got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Salles. Sergio Peralta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Keenan Worthington's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. With his leg Ian Chapui managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Flamengo de San Blás's Roman Mlekodaj fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Flamengo de San Blás players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Racing Miami Futbol Club were winning 0-1.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Chu Zheng Yu replaced D.J. Hankins. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shane Smiley made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cheito Carranza during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Flamengo de San Blás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheito Carranza to maneuver through the defense. The Racing Miami Futbol Club players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Flamengo de San Blás from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
