The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabien Barthez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Cordeiro in the 4th minute. Edwin Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Enmanuel having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Matai Melena came free, but Lorenzo Enmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Enmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Villalon in the 9th minute of the match. Saverio Cordeiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabien Barthez could save by the left post. Nicky Butt kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Clemente Goyo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Real Ayuntamiento CF got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Dominix. Lorenzo Enmanuel came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by United FC's John Villalon. But to his dismay, John Villalon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lorenzo Enmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goren Cabañas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Lorenzo Enmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Villalon in the 25th minute of play. Lorenzo Enmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Smith in the 31st minute of the match. Matai Melena kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Saverio Cordeiro scored to the left of an out of position Fabien Barthez, making the score, 1-1. United FC were furious when Nicky Butt was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 39th minute, one of United FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for United FC. When United FC's John Villalon in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Sidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romeo Noe kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Uriel Ribeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Enmanuel skillfully saved the ball. John Villalon came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lorenzo Enmanuel could save by the left post. John Villalon scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorenzo Enmanuel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Lorenzo Enmanuel got control of the ball when John Villalon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute United FC were awarded a corner. Uriel Ribeiro went to the cornerflag to take it. John Villalon made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 89thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Lorenzo Enmanuel would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
