The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, 【AC】★御剑堂★中国's 袁冰弘 got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 7 played minutes 【AC】★御剑堂★中国 got a freekick which was hit by 袁冰弘. 胡光迅 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Rifqi Choo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The 【AC】★御剑堂★中国 fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when 【AC】★御剑堂★中国's 尹朗泉 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Oakham booed when 【AC】★御剑堂★中国 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. 胡光迅 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 【AC】★御剑堂★中国's 方鹏朋 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save 【AC】★御剑堂★中国 from getting a goal against them. 【AC】★御剑堂★中国's 方鹏朋 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Hong in the 29th minute of play. 袁冰弘 kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Bryan Hong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Oakham players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 【AC】★御剑堂★中国 were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when 尹朗泉 made the kick off in the second half. Clive Chien-Kwan took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 方鹏朋. 方鹏朋 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 55 minutes into the game, Mark Devan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oakham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 【AC】★御剑堂★中国 the free kick. After 55 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Mark Devan. Felix Leng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 方鹏朋 having to interfere. 方鹏朋 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 尹朗泉's late challenge caught a Oakham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 尹朗泉 helped the player get up and apologised. Faizal Ramachandran hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, 胡光迅 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Clive Chien-Kwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 方鹏朋 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clive Chien-Kwan in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 方鹏朋 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After recieving a nice pass, Oakham's John Dyce tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Clive Chien-Kwan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 方鹏朋 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Oakham's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
