The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Devran Ergüden scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cafer Yasık, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hamur's Cafer Yasık played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Birol Uğurtay in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Celalettin Akıncı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BAŞBUĞ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hamur the free kick. After 14 played minutes BAŞBUĞ got a freekick which was hit by Celalettin Akıncı. Cafer Yasık made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Birol Uğurtay in the 16th minute of play. If Arif Buğra Yalkın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The coaching staff of Hamur protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hamit İklim had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Hamur:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BAŞBUĞ:s goal. Hamur's Cafer Yasık played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devran Ergüden in the 35th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, BAŞBUĞ's Devran Ergüden made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cafer Yasık was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Hamur's zone, Arif Buğra Yalkın stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cafer Yasık came out of the goal and Arif Buğra Yalkın tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of BAŞBUĞ booed when Hamur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recep Tayyip Veysel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Devran Ergüden was the one to do the kick off. Hamur's Cafer Yasık proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Hamur from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Hamur's Cafer Yasık got control of the ball when Mustafa Birol Uğurtay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hamur's Cafer Yasık played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Buğra Yalkın in the 62nd minute of play. Hadi Tancan charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hadi Tancan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cafer Yasık showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Buğra Yalkın, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Cafer Yasık was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Saip Tecmil. In the 82nd minute, Saip Tecmil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tayfur Durals short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Cafer Yasık to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Devran Ergüden took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cafer Yasık. Cafer Yasık dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 95 minutes into the game, Yusuf Bahadır Mürşit lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Cafer Yasık.
