Şemsettin İlsak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ali Kaan Ulağ firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Şemsettin İlsak could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Ali Kaan Ulağ however easily saved by the left post. When Merih Özdurdu fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s protests and gave Merih Özdurdu a yellow card for diving instead. Şemsettin İlsak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ali Kaan Ulağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Kaan Ulağ showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
