The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Grasacticos! 8 minutes into the game, Ronny Pihlblad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hjalmar Lind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Finman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Holmgren in the 13th minute of play. Anton Gallberg scored 2-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Finman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hjalmar Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Pihlblad in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Pihl United's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Holmgren came free, but Hjalmar Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Grasacticos's Alex Finman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Gummeson in the 23rd minute of play. Rasmus Gummeson had several of the Real Grasacticos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Alex Finman as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 27 minutes, Kim Söderkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Grasacticos and the Pihl United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Real Grasacticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Söderkvist to maneuver through the defense. Anton Gallberg scored 4-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Finman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th match minute, Real Grasacticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Karl-Johan Billock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasmus Gummeson got free with Alex Finman in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Finman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Gummeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After 47 minutes, Arne Holmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Grasacticos and the Pihl United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Grasacticos's Arne Holmgren got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.
In the 52nd minute Rasmus Gummeson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Finman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Pihl United's Anton Gallberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Finman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Real Grasacticos's Alex Finman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Gummeson in the 55th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Henric Hård hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Holmgren hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Rasmus Gummeson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Finman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Real Grasacticos getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Henric Hård hit a great ball. Alex Finman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Gummeson in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rasmus Gummeson in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Finman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Anton Gallberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Finman was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Alex Finman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Holmgren went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score.
