The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yngve Ugla scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Ersman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Örsundsbro's Karl Ersman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Alefors in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Örsundsbro getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sven Hermansson hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Örsundsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Alfors came free, but Karl Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Örsundsbro defense, Yngve Ugla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Ersman. The Örsundsbro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Ersman should have stopped the shot. Karl Ersman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Alfors in the 13th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Huvudstaden's Carl Alefors made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Ersman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Huvudstaden fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Huvudstaden's Jens-Åke Alfors looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the game, Gabriel Magnusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Karl Ersman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Örsundsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Zander came free, but Karl Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngve Ugla in the 32nd minute of play forced Örsundsbro's goalkeeper Karl Ersman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Ersman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Alfors in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Örsundsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Zander came free, but Karl Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Örsundsbro's Karl Ersman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Örsundsbro from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Åke Alfors got free with Karl Ersman in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl Ersman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Zander in the 62nd minute of play. Karl Ersman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yngve Ugla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 63 minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Yngve Ugla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Ersman. Örsundsbro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yngve Ugla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. With an all-out effort, Huvudstaden's Karl Ersman threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kent Zander, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 76 minutes into the match, Yngve Ugla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl Ersman, 0-9. In the 84th minute of the match, Carl Alefors got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl Ersman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 85th minute, Huvudstaden's Yngve Ugla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. 94 minutes into the game, Kent Zander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl Ersman. Kent Zander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. When the final whistle sounded Huvudstaden left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Örsundsbro.
