Henry Ekenberg was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Marcus Löfkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus Löfkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dennis Säfström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Wallengren in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Sandberg in the 29th minute of play forced Sannegården BK's goalkeeper Dennis Säfström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Djurgården Sthlm's goalkeeper Henry Ekenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakob Hellqvist. In the 34th minute, Djurgården Sthlm's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jakob Hellqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 36 minutes into the game, Valdemar Sjögren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henry Ekenberg. Valdemar Sjögren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The Djurgården Sthlm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 48th minute Staffan Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Säfström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdemar Sjögren to make the kick off. Sannegården BK's Dennis Säfström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Sannegården BK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Djurgården Sthlm booed when Sannegården BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Barck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 minutes, Michael Blomqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sannegården BK and the Djurgården Sthlm players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dennis Säfström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
