After 17 played minutes, Slipmaskinerna's Alfons Norberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Henriksson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Slipmaskinerna reached it. After 18 played minutes Slipmaskinerna got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Norberg. Slipmaskinerna's Jens-Åke Blixt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Slipmaskinerna from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Nordin in the 24th minute of play forced Slipmaskinerna's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Blixt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slipmaskinerna's Jens-Åke Blixt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Slipmaskinerna from getting a goal against them. Jens-Åke Blixt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Björck went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Nordin in the 33rd minute of play forced Slipmaskinerna's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Blixt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Calcio U21 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sven-Olof Lenberg hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Jonas Spetz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Calcio U21's Daniel Henriksson. Daniel Henriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Calcio U21's zone, Fred Forssell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Henriksson came out of the goal and Fred Forssell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Spetz in the 46th minute of play forced Calcio U21's goalkeeper Daniel Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Björck made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Tom Möller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Henriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilhelm Jakobsson went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Fred Forssell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Daniel Henriksson made a huge save. Slipmaskinerna's Jens-Åke Blixt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Nordin in the 62nd minute of play. If Joel Björck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes of play, Calcio U21's Samuel Nordin made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Åke Blixt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gunnar Abrahamsson scored 2-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Henriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Henriksson made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Fred Forssell sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Jonas Spetz took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Daniel Henriksson to make any attempt to save it. After 90 played minutes, Calcio U21's Adrian Dalkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens-Åke Blixt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
