The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Björck in the 5th minute of play forced The Reds's goalkeeper Joar Kuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magne Vassenius hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Björck in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joar Kuse saved The Reds from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Viktor Lööf threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Reds's Kim Bock quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joar Kuse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Björck in the 17th minute. After 23 minutes of play, The Reds's Jonny Tunström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Henriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Björck in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joar Kuse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Adrian Dalkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Björck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joar Kuse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The Reds's Kim Bock managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Viktor Lööf in the 42 minute of the game.

Daniel Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joel Björck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
