Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) INIXET BK's Lennart Sörman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kåre Blom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Granqvist went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Lundhberg in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kåre Blom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pauliström's Lennart Lundhberg in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye INIXET BK's goalie prevented a goal. Gösta Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kåre Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennart Sörman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The INIXET BK fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when INIXET BK's Kennet Håkansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th minute John Granqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 18 minutes on the clock, Alfred Larsfelt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Tomas Lagerberg scored 1-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kåre Blom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Gösta Nordin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kåre Blom was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The supporters of INIXET BK booed when Pauliström was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Pauliström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Nordin to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Lennart Lundhberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kåre Blom. INIXET BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Lundhberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Lagerberg in the 36th minute of play forced INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kåre Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, INIXET BK's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Lundhberg came free, but Kåre Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lennart Lundhberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kåre Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Nordin in the 45th minute of play. If Per-Arne Alström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Lundhberg made a kick off. Kåre Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josef Lundblad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Pihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Sixten Utter charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixten Utter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Utter. Gösta Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Blom having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Walter Springfält mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INIXET BK and the Pauliström players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walter Springfält hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Per-Arne Alström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Benjamin Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pauliström's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Löfgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Granqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Kåre Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Nordin in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. John Granqvist hit a great ball. Per-Arne Alström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pauliström's Josef Lundblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Håkansson in the 86th minute of play. Per-Arne Alström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Lundblad having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, John Granqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kåre Blom. John Granqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Pauliström left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than INIXET BK.
