Morgan Henriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morgan Henriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Smycketorgets FF's Morgan Henriksson got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Tomas Kruse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pär Fastesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 10 played minutes Djurgården United got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Bengtsson. In the 10th minute of the match Jesper Ahlén shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Gadd showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Smycketorgets FF's Pär Fastesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Kruse in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Smycketorgets FF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Morgan Henriksson hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Boris Löfgren made a precise shot to the right of Pär Fastesson. Smycketorgets FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Ove Axelsson during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Ove Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Börje Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Pär Fastesson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Kruse went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Pär Fastesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 0-5 came in the 42nd minute when Tomas Kruse all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Pär Fastesson. After having played for 46 minutes, Alex Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djurgården United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Olofsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Smycketorgets FF's goalkeeper Pär Fastesson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Boris Löfgren notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Smycketorgets FF's Pär Fastesson. Pär Fastesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Pär Fastesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djurgården United. 63 minutes into the match, Tomas Kruse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pär Fastesson. Smycketorgets FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Kruse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Boris Löfgren took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Pär Fastesson to make any attempt to save it. Pär Fastesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Kruse in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Kruse got free with Pär Fastesson in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Smycketorgets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Löfgren came free, but Pär Fastesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Urban Ekenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Fastesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Djurgården United's Tomas Kruse slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pär Fastesson. That made the score 0-10 after 95 minutes of play. Djurgården United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
