Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Vänge IF's Sonny Hjeltman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonatan Wennerlund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arman Utfal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 6th minute, Olof Granqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermanö Oilers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Folke Kihlberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Olof Granqvist. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Ove Jonasson in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils Alén saved Hermanö Oilers from getting behind. In the 26th minute, George Molander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Sonny Hjeltman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nils Alén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Arman Utfal. After 33 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Ahlquist. Jonatan Wennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Utfal, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Melker Kjellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Ingvar Grönlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Alén was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melker Kjellkvist was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's Mårten Vallander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils Alén narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arman Utfal struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jonatan Wennerlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hermanö Oilers. In the 63rd minute, Sonny Hjeltman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Alén was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 67th minute of the match Gunnar Linberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Wennerlund skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Hermanö Oilers's Nils Alén got control of the ball when Sven-Ove Jonasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Skager to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Wallgren to maneuver through the defense. Hermanö Oilers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Sonny Hjeltman scored to the left of an out of position Nils Alén, making the score, 2-4. After some careless play in the Vänge IF defense, Wilhelm Cane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Wennerlund. The Vänge IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Wennerlund should have stopped the shot. Nils Alén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Hjeltman, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melker Kjellkvist in the 83rd minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Jonatan Wennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Molander hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Jonatan Wennerlund came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hermanö Oilers's Agne Skager. But to his dismay, Agne Skager quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Vänge IF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
