The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Hugo Ahlkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. StraX Xenon FC's Måns Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivert Hultin in the 4th minute of play. Ytterby FF's Andreas Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvin Nyberg in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to StraX Xenon FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jack Öberg hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaf Kaxe during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 15 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goalkeeper Måns Blomqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerry Svartengren. 19 minutes into the match, Ytterby FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Hjelm came free, but Andreas Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Mårten Colin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Måns Blomqvist, 1-0. StraX Xenon FC's Måns Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mårten Colin in the 31st minute of play. Ivar Stenkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Andreas Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Kaxe in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, StraX Xenon FC's Gösta Hjelm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Isaksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gösta Hjelm was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Ytterby FF got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Almstedt. With an all-out effort, StraX Xenon FC's Andreas Isaksson threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gösta Hjelm, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Ytterby FF's Mårten Colin got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Hjelm in the 61st minute of play forced Ytterby FF's goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Edvin Finman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The StraX Xenon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of StraX Xenon FC booed when Ytterby FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Almstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Isaksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvin Finman went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Edward Uggla charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edward Uggla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvin Finman got free with Andreas Isaksson in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Stenkvist.
