Here Comes the Hammer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NovaStella FK the free kick. In the game's 4th minute NovaStella FK's Ingvar Håkansson took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Andy Klemensson and thus the score was 1-0. Hans Hellström kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Roy Hellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonny Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Andy Klemensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Andy Klemensson came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by NovaStella FK's Ingvar Håkansson. But to his dismay, Ingvar Håkansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Andy Klemensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Gunnarsson in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Patrick Ahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Fritz Vedholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Here Comes the Hammer's supporters rose to their feet, but Fritz Vedholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarl Isaksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to NovaStella FK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hans Hellström hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Jonny Sundberg made a precise shot to the right of Jarl Isaksson. NovaStella FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Andy Klemensson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 44 played minutes NovaStella FK got a freekick which was hit by Hans Hellström. NovaStella FK were furious when Patrick Ahlgren was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Patrick Ahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Fritz Vedholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Here Comes the Hammer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Vedholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Hellkvist made a kick off. NovaStella FK's Jarl Isaksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save NovaStella FK from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute Edward Julin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Klemensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to NovaStella FK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hans Hellström hit a great ball. In the 66th match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Lundström to maneuver through the defense. When Fritz Vedholm came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Here Comes the Hammer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Vedholm couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Ryberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Kent Grönlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andy Klemensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Gunnarsson's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. When Emanuel Ryberg fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Here Comes the Hammer's protests and gave Emanuel Ryberg a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Ryberg hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Paul Gunnarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Klemensson. Here Comes the Hammer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Gunnarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 88th minute Jonny Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The NovaStella FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Here Comes the Hammer had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
