Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iulian Mihaiu started the match with the kick off. CF GRAND VALLE's Olimpiu Pârlea got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Hârlab in the 8th minute of play forced CF GRAND VALLE's goalkeeper Cătălin Drăghici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes CF GRAND VALLE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iulian Mihaiu who took care of the corner kick. In the 9th minute, one of CF GRAND VALLE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CF GRAND VALLE. When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Liverpool's Iulian Mihaiu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cătălin Drăghici. The supporters of CF GRAND VALLE booed when Liverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Agudaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebiu Manciu's late challenge caught a CF GRAND VALLE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebiu Manciu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Eusebiu Manciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cătălin Drăghici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Hârlab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, CF GRAND VALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Lupașcu to maneuver through the defense. When Ion Hârlab came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Liverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ion Hârlab couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Vintilă Oloieru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iulian Mihaiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cătălin Drăghici made a huge save. After 37 played minutes CF GRAND VALLE got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Lupașcu. Iulian Mihaiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Drăghici having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costin Orășan was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ion Hârlab ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cătălin Drăghici was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Nechifor Agudaru kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Liverpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Turcu to maneuver through the defense. Constantin Lupașcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Ene having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Cătălin Magherescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF GRAND VALLE the free kick. After a rather tough play, CF GRAND VALLE's Corneliu Stamate got a free kick in the 97th minute.
