Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Minerul Baita -MM-'s Mihnea Caba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cezar Bărnuțiu took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiberiu Ulici. Tiberiu Ulici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 17 minutes, Mihnea Caba made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Club Vertigo's Tiberiu Ulici tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Chirea hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Tiberiu Ulici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Caba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes, Nechifor Lăcătușu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minerul Baita -MM- and the Club Vertigo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Lăcătușu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dudu Georgescu hit a great ball. When Minerul Baita -MM-'s Mihnea Caba in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Vertigo's goalie prevented a goal. Mihnea Aristide hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Mihnea Caba fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minerul Baita -MM-'s protests and gave Mihnea Caba a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Chirea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sergiu Cobâlcescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Chirea to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Petrică Dumitrescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cezar Bărnuțiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Acalinei. Răzvan Mirciulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sergiu Cobâlcescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petrică Dumitrescu in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiu Cobâlcescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Răzvan Davidescu during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club Vertigo getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Răzvan Davidescu hit a great ball. Răzvan Mirciulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Răzvan Davidescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniel Chirea came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Club Vertigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Chirea couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Mirciulescu came free, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Răzvan Davidescu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. After 79 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Davidescu. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Nicolae Mandache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolae Mandache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiberiu Ulici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Petrică Dumitrescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Vertigo's Tiberiu Ulici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. After having played for 88 minutes, Cornel Mihai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornel Mihai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Vertigo's Tiberiu Ulici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. Cezar Bărnuțiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Ulici having to interfere. Club Vertigo's Tiberiu Ulici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Mandache in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Minerul Baita -MM- eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
