Tomasz Maurycy was slow to take the kick. During this time BYDGOSTIA's players had a chance to rest. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Konrad Rykaczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Mindykowski in the 15th minute of play. Konrad Rykaczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Mindykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Tadeusz Seliga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Konrad Rykaczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Mindykowski in the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of BYDGOSTIA booed when Pogoń Stawiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Wolnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbyszek Jaraczeski charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zbyszek Jaraczeski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

Konrad Rykaczewski made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Bernard Dec sent off a good shot on target. Tytus Ratulowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Konrad Rykaczewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Tytus Ratulowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 88th minute.
