With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Harbaszewski in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenon Kiewra saved KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting behind. In the 12thth minute of the game Maciej Harbaszewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Zenon Kiewra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maciej Harbaszewski in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Kiewra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norbert Borowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Kiewra having to interfere. Jan Pazura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Lichucki in the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maksymilian Japola during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, F.C. Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maksymilian Japola to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Zenon Kiewra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norbert Borowski. 34 minutes into the match, Norbert Borowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zenon Kiewra, 1-0. In the 37th match minute, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Fiszer to maneuver through the defense. Zenon Kiewra made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Maciej Harbaszewski sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A booed when F.C. Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Przybylo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maciej Harbaszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maciej Harbaszewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zenon Kiewra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maciej Harbaszewski's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The supporters of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A booed when F.C. Zenon Kiewra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Zenon Kiewra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Harbaszewski in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Lech Naskrent. In the 79th minute, Maciej Harbaszewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute of the match Iwan Adamczak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zenon Kiewra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 90 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Lech Naskrent.
