Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronny Shipperley started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Coventry Wasps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Eagles to maneuver through the defense. Hellmut Klasen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Matty Plant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Maier in the 6th minute of play forced Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Matty Plant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SC Otten getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Simeon Gill hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Gernot Mauz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Otten's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coventry Wasps the free kick. SC Otten's Olaf Lübke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Moxon in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Otten's goalkeeper Olaf Lübke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute Coventry Wasps were awarded a corner. Gus Fountain went to the cornerflag to take it. Gus Fountain made a great header on Coventry Wasps's corner, it was just that SC Otten's Olaf Lübke managed to reach the ball for a save. Olaf Lübke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Bateman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Lewis Davey succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 24th playminute. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Archie Robinson got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Hellmut Klasen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Otten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hellmut Klasen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 minutes, Ben Moxon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coventry Wasps and the SC Otten players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute Hellmut Klasen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matty Plant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Coventry Wasps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Shipperley to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Coventry Wasps's zone, Lee Maier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matty Plant came out of the goal and Lee Maier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Louis Bateman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olaf Lübke. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louis Bateman during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. SC Otten's Olaf Lübke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Moxon in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hellmut Klasen to strike the kick off in the second half. Ben Moxon hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Olaf Lübke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Shipperley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coventry Wasps were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after SC Otten's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gus Fountain took the corner. Ronny Shipperley struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Olaf Lübke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coventry Wasps. Lewis Davey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Lübke having to interfere. Heinrich Ziervogel's late challenge caught a Coventry Wasps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heinrich Ziervogel helped the player get up and apologised. Heinrich Ziervogel hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, SC Otten's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Bateman came free, but Olaf Lübke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf Lübke came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Coventry Wasps's Ronny Shipperley. But to his dismay, Ronny Shipperley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 73rd minute, Ben Moxon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Bateman in the 76th minute of play forced SC Otten's goalkeeper Olaf Lübke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matty Plant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hellmut Klasen, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Louis Bateman might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olaf Lübke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louis Bateman ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Hellmut Klasen came free, but Matty Plant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coventry Wasps's Mitch Callery was substituted for Ronny Shipperley. SC Otten were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Coventry Wasps's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Heinrich Ziervogel took the corner. In the 91st minute, Mitch Callery ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olaf Lübke was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Coventry Wasps fully deserved thier win.
