Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kolonos Rigatos made the kick off which started today's match. After 12 played minutes Empire of Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Manos. In the 13th minute of the match Jack Collovati shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arkas Potamianos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Achille Fava made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tityos Dounias in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Verbano FC's Achille Fava got control of the ball when Kolonos Rigatos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniele Guarrera took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkas Potamianos. Arkas Potamianos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 31st minute, Kolonos Rigatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arkas Potamianos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Guarrera in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Mauro Sardella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arkas Potamianos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute, Kolonos Rigatos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Empire of Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Arkas Potamianos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Sardella in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Daniele Guarrera made a precise shot to the right of Arkas Potamianos. Empire of Soccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniele Guarrera made a kick off. Verbano FC's Achille Fava played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tityos Dounias in the 56th minute of play. Empire of Soccer's Arkas Potamianos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Guarrera in the 58th minute of play. After 76 minutes, Ptolemeus Bourikas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Empire of Soccer and the Verbano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 84 minutes into the match, Verbano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tityos Dounias came free, but Achille Fava reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Verbano FC booed when Empire of Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kolonos Rigatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arkas Potamianos made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Mauro Sardella sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute Daniele Guarrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkas Potamianos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Roros's late challenge caught a Verbano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panos Roros helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Verbano FC booed when Empire of Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Roros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evripidis Kezdoglou struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Achille Fava didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empire of Soccer. Verbano FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
