The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. LEBEG Team's Demetrio Busillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Gismondi in the 5th minute of play. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in LEBEG Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Franco Gismondi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 15 minutes into the game, Franco Gismondi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Demetrio Busillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Anthony Tonon fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LEBEG Team's protests and gave Anthony Tonon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LEBEG Team's Anthony Tonon got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Alex Bravo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LEBEG Team's Demetrio Busillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anthony Tonon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Ucci struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Dario Apolloni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LEBEG Team. Demetrio Busillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Bravo in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, LEBEG Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Mattioli to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Gismondi in the 40th minute of play forced LEBEG Team's goalkeeper Demetrio Busillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Gallucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After some careless play in the LEBEG Team defense, Alex Bravo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demetrio Busillo. The LEBEG Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demetrio Busillo should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd match minute, Villa di Molvena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Giorda to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Ucci in the 64th minute of play forced Villa di Molvena FC's goalkeeper Dario Apolloni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Bravo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Dario Apolloni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Ucci in the 77th minute of the match. LEBEG Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Ucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
