Alatz March made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 36th minute, Gonsalve Crespo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juliano Festas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haimar Fuentes in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haimar Fuentes in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juliano Festas saved Arrebimba o Malho SLB from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Arrebimba o Malho SLB's zone, Gonsalve Crespo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliano Festas came out of the goal and Gonsalve Crespo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Gama scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alatz March, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Sabino Prestes hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Downchester City were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Arrebimba o Malho SLB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Romualdo Echavarri took the corner. The corner ended in Romualdo Echavarri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Juliano Festas did a great save. A hard shot 59 in the game by Gonsalve Crespo from a close distance when the talented Juliano Festas managed to make a qualified save. The Downchester City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
