Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mateus Prates took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Hilário Viegas got a free kick in the 12th minute. Albérico Vilaverde came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Bermudo Raya. But to his dismay, Bermudo Raya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Germán Zamora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22ndth minute of the game Mateus Prates who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Luis Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Prates, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Albérico Vilaverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Tobia, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. SC Braga's Albérico Vilaverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bermudo Raya in the 30th minute of play. Moncho Muelas charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moncho Muelas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Moncho Muelas got a free kick in the 35th minute. Luis Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateus Prates in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Anselmo Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Santos. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Mateus Prates took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Santos. Luis Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moncho Muelas made a kick off. Germán Zamora was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 51 minutes into the match. Luis Santos came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Marco Saldanha. But to his dismay, Marco Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Hilário Viegas put in a rough tackle. In the 56th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilário Viegas to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors's Bermudo Raya got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Tobia during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Dario Tobia. Mateus Prates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Santos having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Anselmo Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Santalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, SC Braga's Mateus Prates nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. SC Braga's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
