Dalmacio Griego's late challenge caught a UE Cornella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Sancho couldn't finish the play. Leon Tobias charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Tobias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 23 minutes into the match, UE Cornella's goalkeeper Alfronso Candela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ioseba Roig. Anaya Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergi Pujol in the 29th minute of the match. Isidro Bartumeu hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Ioseba Roig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, UE Cornella's Alfronso Candela got control of the ball when Ioseba Roig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Isidro Bartumeu could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Alfronso Candela however easily saved by the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ioseba Roig to strike the kick off in the second half. Isidro Bartumeu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alfronso Candela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Ioseba Roig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Hawk Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Baldemer Fuster kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Alfronso Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Severiano Talavera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of UE Cornella booed when Red Hawk Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Bartumeu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Red Hawk Football Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UE Cornella for a fine match.
