The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Duško Turnšek made the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes of play, HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pino Van Hespen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Istok Šabotić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Andries Mangelschot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YR Mechelen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Andries Mangelschot in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lan Šorli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
