Tarada's Hubert Gauthier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Cepoi in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Jarno Mutach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarada and the FC Truseni players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Truseni booed when Tarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarno Mutach didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Truseni's Tudor Fratea got control of the ball when Laurent Weyermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tudor Fratea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Deniz Egger. Radu Briceag's late challenge caught a Tarada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hubert Gauthier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hubert Gauthier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgiliu Burduja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihail Cepoi was the one to do the kick off. Cliff Gottschalk kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Tudor Cobzar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 minutes of play, FC Truseni's Mihail Cepoi made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Gauthier was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Tudor Cobzar got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hubert Gauthier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Cobzar, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
