Fox Hunting Squad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Puturoasa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fox Hunting Squad's Reinaert Jenken got a free kick in the 8th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Ion Gribincea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Puturoasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Gribincea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 played minutes UFC Puturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Spãtaru. George Stratulat charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed George Stratulat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UFC Puturoasa getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Stroobant in the 28th minute of the match. If Ion Gribincea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Marcel Iordan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Van Elsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. UFC Puturoasa's Petr Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save UFC Puturoasa from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Marcel Iordan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 50thth minute tested the skills of Mats Van Elsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorg Vrijdags kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Stroobant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UFC Puturoasa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
