Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) De Beverpatrouille's Yoeri de Pelsmacker started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Japke van Asten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Stephan de Zwaan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Driel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoeri de Pelsmacker in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Matias Nelleboedske reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fred Driel. The goal made the score 1-0. Gabriel Huyghebaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meindert Jongsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, S.C. Potentia's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Nelleboedske came free, but Fred Driel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herve Luyten might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fred Driel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herve Luyten ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Huyghebaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Japke van Asten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, De Beverpatrouille's Herve Luyten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Fred Driel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yoeri de Pelsmacker's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes S.C. Potentia got a freekick which was hit by Timo van Persie. The supporters of De Beverpatrouille booed when S.C. Potentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Castelen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Japke van Asten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Huyghebaert having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Japke van Asten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Potentia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Beverpatrouille the free kick. Japke van Asten kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Herve Luyten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Potentia's Fred Driel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Yoeri de Pelsmacker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Fred Driel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the game, De Beverpatrouille's Matias Nelleboedske nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fred Driel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Matias Nelleboedske kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to De Beverpatrouille getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bertan Leyman hit a great ball. Gabriel Huyghebaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meindert Jongsma in the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Japke van Asten managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Potentia's supporters rose to their feet, but Japke van Asten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Huyghebaert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fred Driel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoeri de Pelsmacker in the 96th minute of play. De Beverpatrouille were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of S.C. Potentia for a fine match.
