After some careless play in the FC CSKA defense, Eelco Neijsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislav Velikin. The FC CSKA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislav Velikin should have stopped the shot. Stanislav Velikin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eelco Neijsen in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Yancho Dzhongarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Hauvers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, one of FC CSKA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC CSKA.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vangel Simidchiyski was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Kurt Neijsen made a precise shot to the right of Stanislav Velikin. FC CSKA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Koos Masker hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Wesley Baatenburg got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Jurjen Kors got a free kick in the 78th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Winthont FC's Eelco Neijsen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stanislav Velikin. That made the score 0-6 after 81 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Gergin Muchanov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacob Hauvers was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After 90 minutes Winthont FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anzhelo Karamalkov who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC CSKA's Anzhelo Karamalkov to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacob Hauvers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
