Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinaldo Abraão to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Vila Industrial FC's Zé Roberto Bueno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giovanni de Toledo. Giovanni de Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Vila Industrial FC's Doni Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Donatello in the 72nd minute of play. Joel Martins's late challenge caught a Minotauro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Martins helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Vila Industrial FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Martins. 84 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goalkeeper Giovanni de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaldo Abraão. 86 minutes into the match, Vila Industrial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Gaspar came free, but Doni Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes, Josué Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minotauro and the Vila Industrial FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 88 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Abraão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giovanni de Toledo. Reinaldo Abraão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Felippe Donatello took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni Velloso. Doni Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The Vila Industrial FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Minotauro from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
