TaTeRo Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC - Curitiba the free kick. Carlinhos Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Proença in the 5th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Clemente Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Ceresso in the 16th minute of play forced TaTeRo Boys's goalkeeper Carlinhos Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Custódio in the 19th minute of play forced AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper César da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Durvalino Linhares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlinhos Berger. The goal made the score 0-5. Clemente Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Carlinhos Berger made a huge save. The supporters of AFC - Curitiba booed when TaTeRo Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. TaTeRo Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Clemente Ceresso scored to the left of an out of position Carlinhos Berger, making the score, 0-6. Clemente Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Carlinhos Berger made a huge save. After a rather tough play, AFC - Curitiba's Natã Arantes got a free kick in the 95th minute.
