The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute, Raphael Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Vianna in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Cardozo saved Cestarolli FC from getting behind. Cestarolli FC's Leonardo Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Vianna in the 19th minute of play.
