Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Anderson Mattos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vinícius Salles came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirajiba's Nelson de Queiroz. But to his dismay, Nelson de Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vinícius Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th match minute, Pirajiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Nelson de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AVAÍ F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirajiba the free kick. A collision led to AVAÍ F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Oswaldo Recife hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Natanael Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinícius Salles made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Sydney Cearense sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute of the match Deivid Bueno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinícius Salles skillfully saved the ball. Vinícius Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelson de Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelson de Queiroz in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinícius Salles saved AVAÍ F.C. from getting behind. Vinícius Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson de Queiroz in the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anderson Mattos in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Nelson de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirajiba's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelson de Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinícius Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cido Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Mattos in the 41st minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Albertinho Lucas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cido Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Albertinho Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertinho Lucas hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 57 played minutes Pirajiba got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Cearense. After some careless play in the AVAÍ F.C. defense, Nelson de Queiroz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinícius Salles. The AVAÍ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinícius Salles should have stopped the shot. Vinícius Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nelson de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67thth minute of the game Jairo Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AVAÍ F.C.'s Vinícius Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luisinho Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cido Meireles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Queirós's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Anderson Mattos made a precise shot to the right of Cido Meireles. Pirajiba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Cido Meireles made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Anderson Mattos sent off a good shot on target. Vinícius Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson de Queiroz in the 83rd minute of play. Vinícius Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Cearense in the 88th minute of play. If Anderson Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AVAÍ F.C.'s Vinícius Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Santana in the 97th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Ronaldo Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Pirajiba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
