After some careless play in the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE defense, Narciso Pinheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito Vidal. The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito Vidal should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Juventus EC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Serafim Bittencourt hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Vitinho Queiroz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão de Queirós got free with Mateus de Senna in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th match minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Simão de Queirós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateus de Senna. Simão de Queirós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With a little luck, Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna got control of the ball when Silas Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Marcelo Valadares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vito Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Vitinho Queiroz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mateus de Senna came out and tried to block the shot, but Vitinho Queiroz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 37th minute. In the 44th minute, Silas Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Juventus EC's Serafim Bittencourt got a free kick in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes Vitinho Queiroz shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Juventus EC's Mateus de Senna to catch but Vitinho Queiroz was lucky. It became 3-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Vinhas made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Silas Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Enéas Urbano from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Vito Vidal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mateus de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Velloso in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes Juventus EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vitinho Queiroz who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Silas Siqueira to score against Mateus de Senna in Juventus EC's goal. 4-2 after 59 minutes. In the 61st match minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Prestes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Juventus EC's Sílvio Luiz Toscano got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes Juventus EC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Bittencourt. Mateus de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Recife hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Mazinho Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mazinho Velloso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Mazinho Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateus de Senna was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The supporters of Juventus EC booed when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Vidal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Enéas Urbano. Serafim Bittencourt hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Simão de Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. In the 89th minute, Silas Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 7-2 when Simão de Queirós sped through Juventus EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mateus de Senna. Marcelo Valadares struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Vito Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus EC. Juventus EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
